Why We Created the One Dish Kitchen Store

Hi, I'm Joanie, and I'm so glad you're here.

At One Dish Kitchen, every recipe is developed with smaller portions in mind. Because dish size can make such a big difference in how a recipe turns out, we include the dish size used in each recipe post on OneDishKitchen.com.

Over time, we began hearing the same question from readers again and again:

"Where can I buy the dish you used in this recipe?"

When you're making a single serving casserole, a small dessert, baked pasta, or a perfectly portioned meal, the right dish matters. A dish that's too large or too small can affect the depth, texture, baking time, and final result.

For a while, we recommended small baking dishes from brands we knew and trusted. But readers told us they had trouble finding them, or that the dishes were out of stock, especially when they were excited to make a recipe and wanted to use the size we recommended.

So we decided to develop our own line of baking dishes, made with our recipes and readers in mind.

Today, the One Dish Kitchen Store offers small baking dishes and kitchen essentials designed to make cooking for one easier, more reliable, and more enjoyable. Whether you're making a cozy casserole, a fruit crisp, a small cake, a side dish, or dinner just for yourself, our goal is simple: to help you have the right dish for the recipe, without the frustration of searching everywhere for it.

I also wrote The Ultimate Cooking for One Cookbook, which includes 175 single serving recipes designed to go alongside the dishes in our store.
